Course Overview

What You’ll Learn

This Long-Term Care course was designed, constructed and written to provide students with continuing education on the basics in the area of Long-Term Care. The harsh realities of aging in America are coming into sharp focus. In 2050, the population aged 65 and over is projected to be 83.7 million, almost double its estimated population of 43.1 million in 2012.

A frequent story will soon be that 95-year-old baby boomers without long-term care insurance may have to rely on a 90-year-old spouse or a 70-year-old son or daughter for personal care. Consumers cannot rely on Medicare, Medicare supplementary insurance, or health insurance to help them meet long-term care costs. They do not cover most longterm care expenses.

This Long-Term Care course is a continuing education course to you to enhance your professional development and the professional competence of financial and insurance professionals aspiring to make Long-Term Care insurance a cornerstone of their personal mission, as well as to fulfill their commitment to their clients to stay up to date on key areas that affect them and their families.
